Do you know any war veterans?

Only an ex neighbour who is a Vietnam Veteran. The poor guy still can't handle sudden loud noises. He's a great person and highly respected in our old street. He hasn't worked since - but the neighbours pay him for odd jobs as he's handy and totally trustworthy.

OK see if you can guess! I did 2 lies and 3 truths..anyone who knows me knows what is truth from fiction!
- I am starting to question my decision to get into the sphere of work I've chosen, which is causing all kinds of stress.
- I feel like I'm socially retarded at times but my friends see me as a socially outgoing fun person.
- I've had an affair with a married man.
- I've been told I'm an excellent kisser ;)
- I hate kids.
If you could pick a cartoon world to live in, which would it be? Why?

Ooo Oo a tough choice, to be Wonder Woman, or Jeannie in I Dream Of Jeannie. Being able to do that whole "blinggk" thing would be a hoot but you really REALLY would not want to see me in that eeny weeny teeny pink bikini!

Ah this one is tough to name what the last compliment given out was - when I see someone I know looking good or wearing something nice, or even a random stranger in the lift, I'll tell them. Life's too short to be stingy with our nice thoughts.
As for the last one received. Other than coworkers raving about how I deserve today off before our 4 day public holiday weekend, for a rest? I can't remember receiving any compliments. Oh I know here's one - JNL's dad raved about how he doesn't get the men my age that they should be lining up and my door and shakes his head horrified every time he sees me and realises I'm still single. It's cute. I told him I have to get him on the case as my chief matchmaker, that he's not allowed to go back to his farm, but to stick around and help me out instead. He's an old cutie.
I'm not talking dirty guys, but sensuous, sexy but not sleazy. What do you find pushes your buttons without PUSHING YOUR BUTTONS.
For me, it was an ex of mine who used to give me an hour long massage, back shoulders, neck, scalp, then he'd rest my head against his legs (keeping this clean guys minds out of the gutter) and would massage my face tenderly before kissing me upside down.. that whole kiss of the lower lip... stunning. Simply stunning. No intent beyond worshipping each other. Sexy as hell without an agenda.
Playfights - not too rough, fun, playful, flirtatious, especially with someone who there is sexual tension with ...rrowrl. The longer it's prolonged without trying to change the tone it builds the tension which is just fabulous.
Have you noticed a climate change in the area where you live over the past few years?
We've had ongoing water restrictions for the gardens, later and hotter summers, drier winters. Wilder storms.
In your ultimate dream house, what does your favorite room look like?
OO this tickles my love of home and style bone big time. Something with lots of bight but not hot natural light imbibing the room with a sense of warmth without being hot. The room itself, neutral crisp tones on the walls, smooth polished jarrah floorboards, round or hexagonal room with windows surrounding on 3 sides, mirrored windows so that during the day you could walk around nude feeling like you're in the forest which the house would be situated in (of course) without anyone being able to peep at you (my step father used to peep in on me whenever he thought he could and since, I've had a fear of curtains being open or my privacy being invaded but I just love that natural light and freedom to be myself) roman crisp white fabric blinds to pull down at night. Perhaps a stained glass window in the middle of the ceiling but that might be too over the top. Maybe just a ceiling rose. A large bed with crisp linnen - the linnen and touches around the room tying in with the incredible art which I'd be able to afford in this fantasy land which would be at discreet intervals on the other walls. There would be a bookcase also, built into one of the other non window walls containing books on philosophy, art, fantasy novels (one of my weaknesses), curio's from trips that I would've been able to afford to go and do instead of doing what Im doing but not overcluttered. A vase of flowers on a side table. Soft discreet indirect lighting for night soft but not dark. a windowseat in one corner near the windows for wintery days to curl up with a book. Jasmine scented massage oil in the side drawer. An electric blanket for chilly nights. A stereo speaker set up in there for surround sound to be piped in. mmmm oh and hey given this is dreamland, a spa in the corner too! :) mmmm if we're going to go to the sublimely ridiculous, let's add in the tall manogamous hunk and the unicorn trotting past the window! ha ha.
What's something you should throw away, but can't?
I cackled evilly when I saw this one. My first reaction was "my non-relationship with Angel!".
I spent yesterday hunting high and low for airconditioner bargains and came home to an email from him telling me he'd been out with his brother who is visiting this weekend, and he stopped in at a store himself to get some pricing for me on airconditioning units from that store near him. Aww cute, dear friend, thinking of me. I did think it was kind of thoughtful, as far as friends go.
